Start of Final Task

     Hi, it's Nagual again, and i'd like to introduce myself once again. I'm currently a student at a high school in Florida. I'm also enrolled in the Cambridge program there. For this semester I will be working on my final task. We will be making an opening for an original fictional film. This project will come with a lot of planning and thinking. I'll also have to do quite a bit of blogging for this. I will be working in a group. We will be coming together to brainstorm ideas for the production of this film. The members of my group is Carla, Steven, and Safia.

     For this task I will be applying the things that I learned last semester. Some things I've learned is that I need to get things done on time. If not we will be set back and having to rush which will result in a sloppy outcome. It's also important to have a backup plan. And always and I mean ALWAYS keep your camera charged, especially if you're going to a public place.  I'm very excited about using my acting skills in this project. I feel like my acting skills could improve, and I feel that this project might help with that problem. If I could better my acting skills before filming I think that this project will come out very well. I would also like to help more with editing and coming up with ideas to make the film better. This would also improve my creativity and editing skills.

      For this project we have to make a pitch. In fact, a few, just in case. Well, first of all what is a pitch. A pitch is a Hollywood term to describe an idea where a film is encapsulated in 25 words or less. For one of the pitches I thought of is something romantic. My idea was about a girl falling in love with a guy but he ended up leaving the state and then years later finding each other once again. The second pitch is an action film, that consists of a kidnapping as the central theme. The kidnapping focuses on the presidents daughter (a made up one), who gets kidnapped as part of a terrorist attempt for money and political change. The third and final pitch is a horror film. This one is focused on a couple that broke up because of the boyfriends absurd behavior, which ultimately was him transitioning into a werewolf.
